Kennedale kicks off 2010 race season with third annual special
KENNEDALE, Texas (Feb. 28) – The Spring Kickoff sees four IMCA divisions in action for the first time this season at Kennedale Speedway Park.
IMCA Modifieds headline the third annual event, running for $600 to win both Saturday and Sunday, March 6-7.
Nightly features for IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and for Southwest Racing Specialties Southern SportMods pay $500 to win. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for a top prize of $300.
All applicable points will be awarded each night.
Pit gates open at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 5 for registration and an open practice. On Saturday, gates open at 4 p.m., the draw closes at 6:30 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the pit gates open at 2 p.m., the draw closes at 3:30 p.m. and racing gets underway at 4 p.m.
Pit passes are $25 and there is no charge for grandstand admission on Friday. Grandstand admission Saturday and Sunday is $12 for adults, $5 for children 6-11 and free for kids five and under.
