Pro Topline's new IMCA Sport Mod cylinder heads
IMCA Pro Topline, the manufacturers of Pro Action cylinder heads, has been chosen to manufacture the I.M.C.A spec cylinder head for the Sport Mod division. Similar in appearance to the nationally known I.M.C.A. Sunoco Modified, the Sport Mod is intended to be an economical entry-level open wheel division.

"This is a big step in completing the engine program for the new class," I.M.C.A. Vice President of Operations Brett Root said.

The I.M.C.A cylinder head is based on Pro Topline's popular Pro Torker model. This stock replacement-style cylinder head has gained considerable momentum in the performance industry due to casting and machining features. "Pro Topline has an extensive dealer network and we anticipate they will be able to distribute this product to meet the needs of our member drivers as the division grows," commented Root. "It will be available bare or complete at a price similar to their current S/R-type cylinder head."

What sets the I.M.C.A. spec head apart from a conventional Pro Topline or any other aftermarket head is the casting. I.M.C.A. will be cast on both intake and exhaust runners, on the top and bottom of the cylinder head. The company logo will be cast in the valve cover area.

Specs of the Pro Topline/I.M.C.A Sport Mod Cylinder Head:

*SBC OE-style casting; 76cc combustion chamber with straight spark-plug location.
*1.94-inch intake valve and 1.5-inch exhaust valve.
*Valvespring seats machined to 1.5-inch diameter.
*Stock integral cast valveguide (not inserted).

Pro Topline is a specialty cylinder head manufacturer, known mainly for its Pro Action brand of cast-iron and aluminum cylinder heads. Pro Topline's unique and efficient manufacturing procedures enable it to produce high-flowing, powerful cylinder heads at high-quality and competitive pricing. Its cast-iron and aluminum capabilities give racers in cast-iron-only classes the performance benefits of an aluminum head.

Pro Topline products cater to all forms of motorsports with a diverse range of OEM stock replacement cylinder heads.
