Limted Modified Front Suspension
- You have the front suspension parts from the chassis you started with
- Clean up all front suspension parts
- Check all parts for wear, bent, cracks
- Replace any bad parts
- Do not cut frame for springs (rules do not allow this)
- I would start with a 750 lb. right front spring with a spacer
- I would start with a 650 lb. left front spring with a spacer
- Do not cut spacers off yet (there is a crankshaft height rule we will get
to this later)
- Install all front suspension parts (leave upper ball joint loose in
spindle we will get to this later)
- Clean up hubs and bearings
- Check wheel bearing and pack with grease
- Install hubs and bearings
Limted Modified Rear Suspension
- You have the Rear suspension parts from the chassis you started with.
- Clean up all rear suspension parts, rear end, & trailing arms.
- Check all parts for wear, bent, cracks.
- Replace any bad parts.
- Install trailing arm, rear end you are going to use.
- Install rear springs, You can use stock type AFCO pig tail springs 150lb.,
175 lb. 200 lb. Or you can use racing 13 in. to 16 in. 150 lbs to 200
lbs. springs with spring buckets and lower spring perch (this is the best
but if cost is a problem then use pig tail springs with stock mounts) if you
want to install spring buckets you will have to cut holes for them in rear
cross member. (they have to mount in same location in cross member as stock
spring did) before welding in buckets you need ride height right. You can
use a spacer with these springs. (No bolt type weight jacks)
